My Maps

New to the G Suite of products is My Maps. My Maps is a program that allows you to create a customized map of the world, it is your own personal Google Maps. You get to create pins identifying places of importance.

Can you imagine reading "Around the World in 80 Days" and having students pin and research the various locations traveled to? What about creating a map of different cities and having students figure out the most efficient way to get there comparing cost to time?

You could also have the students create a map that explains who they are to you. Where do they want to go? Where have they been? Where is there family from? Where do they like to go? Take that you classic "What I did this summer" essay.
